Hands-on industry practices workshop
As a final prep for your jump-start into the world of fashion (and in order to stay ahead of the pack), we’ll give you behind-the-scenes knowledge while you learn about and practise on industry tools. This intensive workshop runs for one full 6-hour day.

Introduction to industrial machines (sewing machine, 4-thread overlock, 5-thread overlock, iron) Working with an industrial iron and accessories Working with commercial dressmaker forms Draping and sizing basics The importance of professional ironing Professional finishings, tricks, and techniques Hands-on industrial machine use Cost: $110 including gst (This course has a maximum of 8 students.)
