KIDS AFTER SCHOOL
This after-school program is an excellent opportunity for your child to learn the basics of sewing while working on creative projects in small groups with other children their age. Our Kids After School class includes a snack and all fabric and supplies, and is open to children between the ages of 8 and 13. (Please contact us if your child is younger or older.)

LEARN
• How to use a sewing machine
• Hand-sewing techniques
• Fine motor skills
• Creative ways of adorning projects including appliqués and painting

COURSE HIGHLIGHT
Each week your child will learn new skills and leave class with a unique project.

COURSE WORK
Students will do projects such as
• Adding appliqués to items including felt slippers and jeans
• A personalized pillow
• A stuffed animal
• Reconstructing a t-shirt
• Drawstring bag/purse
• A denim skirt apron
• A fabric hat
